2b Royalty Free - Music Licence
The contents of these CDs/audio data files are licensed, not sold, to
you by 2b Media Services for use in audio/visual or multimedia productions.
The original purchaser may use the tracks in their productions
without further payment of synchronisation fees or mechanical royalties.
Such uses include, but are not limited to: Broadcasting, Film and Theatre,
Video and DVD, Computer Games and Physical Products, Multimedia and Web Design, On-
Hold Systems, Media Training, Theme Parks, Exhibitions, Schools, Shops and
Restaurants.
The following uses are not permitted under this basic
licence:
- Commercials and Advertising Campaigns (exceptions apply, please contact
for details).
- Films and Theatre productions for which there is a paying audience.
- Production runs (ie. on-chip products, games, videos, dvds etc.) in excess of
5000 units.
- Production runs of high-value goods where the retail price exceeds £100 per unit.
- Software, online services or other products which allow the music/audio to be
downloaded, acquired or otherwise manipulated by the user.
- Any application where the music or audio is re-sold, re-packaged or otherwise distributed without the addition of a voice-over or visual element.
Such as compilation albums, music samples and file-sharing services etc.
- On-hold and on-premises applications are limited to one business premises or branch only under the basic licence.
Cost-effective licence extensions
for uses not covered by this agreement are available on request.
All public performances of these works must be notified to the local
performing rights society unless specified elsewhere.
When used in any broadcast application/production, the broadcaster is
responsible for advising the relevant performing rights society (PRS/ASCAP etc.) of
the sound elements used, by way of a music cue sheet. When submitting material to
any broadcaster you must supply them with the following information:

The above details can be found within the CD, or PDF file accompanying your
download. Performance royalties are derived from the broadcaster’s blanket licence
and there are no further costs to you, the producer. Please send a copy of your
music cue sheet to us in order that our composers may receive their rightful share.
Users should note that any public performance of the music is likely to require a further licence from your local
Performing Rights Organisation (PRO). Such uses include television, radio, corporate presentations and events, in-store/on-premises use,
on-hold messaging, websites and online use. In many cases the broadcaster, business or hosting venue will be responsible for the performance licence
but care must be taken to ensure there is a valid licence in place, particularly in the case of websites, where the website owner
has sole responsibility. If in doubt contact your local PRO or talk to us about our Copyright Free Music solutions. 2b Media Services can accept no liability
for third party claims against users who fail to acquire the appropriate licences.
The audio material may be edited, layered, re-sampled, looped, effected or
de-constructed to suit your purposes but the results of such editing may not be
passed off, resold or re-distributed as your own work, or assigned to any third
party.
Users must request written permission for the addition of lyrics to our
music and respect our work by clearing any defamatory or borderline applications.
All rights in these recordings remain the property of 2b Media Services or
it's licensors. The user agrees to make every effort to protect our rights and
further agrees to indemnify us against any losses or claims arising from the use of
this music.
This licence is non-transferrable and any form of re-distribution to third
parties including via audio or data storage media, computer/internet download or
file sharing is strictly prohibited and will be pursued to the full extent of law.
You may copy the audio to other media formats only for the purpose of incorporating
the material into your productions.
It is good practice to afford the composer(s) a credit if you use their
music in your production, using the following format(s):

This website has been provided by 2b Media Service ("The Company") to you
("The User")for the purpose of purchasing royalty-free music and sound effects for
use in personal, business, corporate or broadcast audio/visual applications.
All content, images, layout and code is the property of 2b Media Services or
it's licensors and all other rights in this website are reserved. The company
warrants that it has acquired the necessary consents from composers and content
providers to use and/or sell their works in return for consideration as agreed
between the parties.
The user may not act or use their computer in such a way as to damage our
website or its contents nor to cause its operation to be interrupted. Further, you
may not use or involve the website in any criminal or fraudulent activity including
but not limited to distribution of spam, viruses or indecent or offensive materials.
Due to the copyable nature of audio files the company is unable to offer
refunds whether against downloadable goods or physical products. Goods found to be
faulty may be returned within 14 days together with proof of purchase, whereupon a
replacement will be provided. In exceptional circumstances, refunds may be given at
the discretion of the company management
The right to cancel your order does not apply to purchases from this website
as the delivery of copyable goods is provided immediately after payment. You have
been given the opportunity to preview the goods and services from this website and
by completing a purchase you hereby agree to waive this right.
We reserve the right to update exchange rates, alter pricing or introduce
offers from time to time. Offers are subject to availability and the user agrees to
pay the fees as displayed at the time of ordering. If you do not pay in your local
currency there may be exchange rates and credit card charges to take into account,
for which you will be responsible.
The total value of goods in your shopping basket will be displayed prior to
purchase. This page will also show any applicable postage costs and VAT. On checkout
you will be transferred to the secure pages of WorldPay in order to complete your
payment. Proceeding from here will constitute an acceptance of our terms and an
offer to purchase.
We or our payment providers reserve the right to decline your payment and
revoke your order.
After payment a confirmation will be displayed which we advise you to print
as proof of purchase. From here you must initiate your downloads. Closure of your
browser at this point will mean that your downloads are no longer accessible online.
Contact us immediately if you lose your purchases at this stage and we will organise
transferral of the relevant files following verification your order.
Physical goods such as CDs will usually be dispatched on the same day if
ordered before 3pm GMT and are sent by Recorded Delivery in the UK or by Standard
Airmail for customers residing outside the UK. Actual delivery times cannot be
guaranteed as they are determined by the carrier used and other circumstances beyond
our control.
Further, the company will not be held liable for any losses or delays caused
by circumstances beyond its control.
